If you wish to become a customer and active user of our Webshop, please carefully read our Terms and Conditions, and use our services only if you agree with all points and regard it binding for yourself. The present document will not be filed and will only be entered into electronically, cannot be retrieved later, and does not refer to any code of conduct. If any question should arise regarding the operation, ordering and delivery processes of the Webshop, we are at your disposal via the given contact numbers and addresses!

The customer or contracting party
The data network user interface, maintained by the Webshop-service provider, is available both domestically and abroad, due to the peculiarities of the data network (Internet). Dekor-el Kft. only accepts orders from European Union countries which can be selected when registering (Hungary, as well as Slovakia, Slovenia, Austria, Czech Republic, Romania, Poland, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Bulgaria, Denmark, France, Italy, Great Britain, Ireland, Lithuania, Latvia, Spain, Sweden, Estonia, Malta, Greece, Portugal, Finland, Cyprus).

The purpose of the Webshop Terms and Conditions
Dekor-el Kft.
has published the Webshop Terms and Conditions in order to fully control the conditions regarding the Webshop service and its use, the service provider and customer rights, their obligations and other important circumstances relevant to the Webshop service.

The Webshop Terms and Conditions contain the general conditions of the legal relationship established between Dekor-el Kft. and the customer entering into a contract with it. As for questions not regulated here, prevailing Hungarian laws and official regulations apply, as well as provisions in the civil code concerning the activity of the Webshop-service provider, without a special clause.

Publication of the Webshop Terms and Conditions
Acceptance of the Webshop Terms and Conditions by the customer is a pre-requisite for using the Webshop-service. Using the service, that is, registration is considered the acceptance of the terms and conditions.

If the Webshop Terms and Conditions have changed since last login time, the customer shall be informed about the changes when logging in, and has to accept the conditions again before placing the next order.

Scope of the Webshop Terms and Conditions
Dekor-el Kft. reserves the right to make modifications to the Webshop Terms and Conditions partly or fully, at any time. The Webshop Terms and Conditions and their prevailing modification come into effect upon publication. The Webshop Terms and Conditions shall remain in force as long as the Webshop-service provider provides the service.

Data Protection
With registration you consent to managing your data. During using the Webshop, Dekor-el Kft. shall handle your personal data you have made available confidentially, and shall not disclose them to another party, except for when it is a subcontractor of Dekor-el Kft. (e.g. a courier service for the delivery of orders). During browsing the Webshop, some technical information is registered for statistic purposes (IP address, duration of the visit, etc.). Dekor-el Kft. shall disclose these data to the authorities only in legally credibly justified and supported cases.  To use the service you need to enable cookies. If you do not wish to enable the use of cookies, you can block it in the settings of your browser. If you block cookies, certain elements of the service can be used only partly or not at all. Cookie is a file sent by the server to the browser of the user and is stored on the user’s computer. Personal data will not be stored in cookies. To complete the order, Dekor-el Kft. uses the data recorded when you place your order. The details of the invoice issued of orders placed on pages of the Webshop via certain IT systems, are recorded and stored together with the data entered during placing the order, for the period specified by the Accounting Act in force. The data entered during subscribing to the newsletter while browsing the Webshop are handled confidentially by Dekor-el Kft.; the opportunity to unsubscribe is provided on the bottom of every newsletter and it can also be requested via any of the given contact numbers and addresses. You can request the deletion or change of your data at any time at info<at>onlinedekor.hu . To questions not regulated in the present Terms and Conditions, the civil code, Government Decree Nr. 17/1999 (II.5.) on distance selling, and the provisions of Act CVIII of 2001 on certain issues of electronic commerce activities and information society services apply. By browsing the pages of the Webshop and placing your order you accept the Terms and Conditions and data management principles of Dekor-el Kft.

Our Webshop deals with the sale of general and unique, customizable decorations. Most of the selected products are produced individually when the order is placed. The ordered product is posted or we provide the opportunity for personal receipt.

The prices indicated in our Webshop include the statutory VAT, however, they do not include the delivery fee. We do not charge you additional cost for packing. 

Ordering information
Purchases can only be made via the homepage following a registration.

Order processing

Orders are processed between 9am and 6pm on workdays. It is possible to place orders at other times than what is indicated for order processing. If you place your order after work hours, the order will be processed next day.

Our customer service always confirms by email or phone when they can complete your order. General preparation time falls within five workdays from the confirmation. In case of certain products it falls within ten days. Always refer to product information. Pictures that appear on the product data sheet may differ from the actual products, in certain cases they only serve as illustration. Our company cannot be held liable for the possible changes of technical reviews without prior notice made for reasons by the supplier or beyond his/her control. We reserve the right to partly or completely reject orders already confirmed.  Partly executing an order can only take place after consulting the customer. In case of advance payment the amount gets transferred back to the sender.

Steps of placing an order

  1. Product selection: Using the services of the website select the product you wish to order. On the product sheet and general information sheet you can find information on customizing the product. Follow this information and put the selected product in the basket. Only graphics seen in the edit window will be ordered, photos and designs are illustration only. If you wish to put further products in the basket, select another product.
  2. Basket: If you would not like to purchase more products, click on the basket. By clicking “delete”, you can empty your basket. After providing the quantity, the content of the basket is refreshed automatically. 
  3. Coupon redemption: If you have discount coupons, you can validate them here.  Attention: coupons can only be used for a certain period of time. Add the coupon code to the right place and check if it has been added to the basket. You can add more coupons, as well.
  4.  Log in: Log in or register a new account if you have not done so yet and pay attention to provide the correct data. 
  5. Address:  Check the data entered or add a new delivery address. You can add your comment in connection with the order here. If you have a comment on a specific product, please also enter the reference number. 
  6. Delivery: Select the desired mode of delivery or select the option of personal receipt. If you have not accepted the Terms of Service yet, you can do so here.
  7. Payment: Select the method of payment.
  8. Confirmation: Please review the summary and click “I confirm the order”.
  9. You will soon receive an email notification about the order and we will let you know about the acceptance of your order and further steps by email, too.

Registration
You can only place your order following a registration. By filling the registration form you become entitled to place an order. Pay attention to enter the data correctly, always check them before placing the order, because the delivery and invoicing take place based on these data. The data can be modified later. ATTENTION! In orders already placed the data will not change in case of a modification. If you would still like to make alterations to the address or contact details related to the product ordered, please contact us by message or email.

Order modification, deletion
Upon placing the order, a notification is immediately sent to the customer by the Webshop server about taking the order. If the customer does not receive this email within 48 hours, the obligations of the customer cease. Dekor-el Kft. gives the customer the opportunity to revoke his/her order electronically till the start of order fulfilment.

Any kind of modification or deletion of the order may be claimed in a message by the customer at the selected order under order history in the menu.

When the order has been accepted and completion has started, the customer receives an email notification.

If payment has already been effected we can return the purchase price as follows:

-          In the case of money transfer, according to the regulations of Government Decree No. 11/1999. (II. 5.), we refund the purchase price within 30 days. Costs arising during bank transactions, however, have to be borne by the Customer.

Payment

We can accept the following payment methods in our webshop:

Wire transfer: (Available: in case of registration in Hungary)
Customer will pay in advance by wire transfer to the bank account of Dekor-el Kft. after  placing the order. 

Bank card (Available: in all the countries)
During the process of ordering  we will direct the Customer to the payment site of OTP BANK, then at the end of the transaction we will direct you back to our website, after getting information about the state of the transaction. Payment will take place on the website of OTP BANK, in a safe way.

PayPal (Available: in all the countries, exception Hungary)
Payment is processed on the payment site of PayPal while placing your order.

COD (cash on delivery) (Available: in case of registration in Hungary)
In case of home delivery, by COD to the carrier.

Collection in person – in cash
In case of collection in person, the Customer will pay to the staff of Dekor-el Kft. (in Debrecen, Hungary) (Available: in case of registration in Hungary)

Home delivery

We offer home delivery or you can collect the ordered products in person.

In Hungary GLS Parcel Delivery Service will deliver your ordered product(s). Internationally deliveries has several options (Hungarian Post, GLS, DPD, TNT, DHL). We deliver parcels only on workdays, between 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. In case you cannot stay at home within this period of time, please give the address of your workplace (if possible) as your delivery address. The GLS Parcel Delivery Service will attempt to deliver the ordered product twice, and returns any undelivered parcels to our company residence . We will send such parcels again only after you pay for the costs of transport repeatedly.

Parcels contain the invoice and the warranty card as well.

Please check your parcel carefully when receiving it from the carrier and ask to draw up minutes (a written record)  in case of any damages noticed on your product and do not accept your parcel! We cannot accept any complaints which are made subsequently and without drawing up minutes!

The costs of transport include the costs of packaging; and the cost of the transaction. Charges of internationally deliveries not included customs and VAT. This transport company should pay.

In the case we cannot perform the delivery we fully refund the amount you payed in advance. When you choose delivery as a letter could be ’priority’, ’dedicated’, ’return receipt’ or ’value registered’. (Return receipt and value registered not available in all coutries)

Depending on coutries the delivery time can be different, up to 30 days. Please contact us if you didn’t receive your goods or you have any problem with your delivery.

In the case of G4 and C1-5 delivery it is possible to ship your parcel on a discounted price. Before your purchase please contact us by email (include your address and product code). If you entitled to a discount we send a coupon code which you can apply at purchase.

 

Delivery is free in case of orders above 10.000 HUF and within the territory of Hungary.

Preparation time:
We make our products to order and do not sell them from our stock. The preparation time of our products is 2-5 workdays, plus the time of delivery, which is 1 workday in case of delivery to Hungary.

Sometimes our shop may be closed even within the opening hours, due to outside jobs.
Therefore, in case of personal delivery, please always inquire beforehand whether there will be anybody in the workshop.

You can pick up your ordered product within 14 days. After this period we will cancel your order and sell the product again.

 

 

Customer rights and obligations
Right of withdrawal
Under the regulation of Government Decree No. 17/1999. (II.5.) on distance selling, the consumer can withdraw from a contract within 14 business days from the delivery of the product ordered, without justification and can return the product.

In the absence of this information, the consumer is entitled to exercise the right of withdrawal for three months. When exercising the right of withdrawal, only the cost of returning the product has to be borne by the consumer, but Dekor-el Kft. can claim for damages due to improper use. In certain cases, however, the consumer is not entitled to the right of withdrawal. Such cases are:

-          In the case of a product, the price of which depends on financial market movements and fluctuations that cannot be controlled by the company.

-          In the case of a product that has been produced specifically to the consumer’s request, based on his/her needs in accordance with his/her special request.

-          In the case of perishable foods.

-          In the case of audio, video, or software, if the wrapping has been opened.

Under the government decree, the contractor shall forthwith or within 30 days at the latest refund the price of the product to the customer, following the return of the product.

4. § (1) The consumer may withdraw without justification within fourteen business days from the contract.

(2) The consumer can practice his/her right of withdrawal of section (1)

a) in the case of a contract regarding the sale of a product from the day of delivery, if consumer had not received the confirmation in writing specified by § 3, within fourteen business days from its delivery, but maximum within three months after the delivery of the product,

b) in the case of a contract regarding providing a service, from the day of entering into  contract; if until this date Customer had not yet received the confirmation in writing specified by § 3, within fourteen business days from its delivery, but maximum within three months from the day of entering into contract.

(3) If the delivery of the written confirmation of § 3 is, in the case of article a) of section (2) from the day of the product's delivery; and in the case of article b) of section (2) within three months from entering into contract, for fourteen business days from this date the consumer can practice his/her right of withdrawal even if there are less than fourteen business days left from the three months after the delivery of the product or the signing of the contract.

(4) If the withdrawal was expressed in writing, it must be considered valid within deadline, if the consumer mails or sends his/her declaration prior to the expiration of the deadline.

(5) The company is liable for transfering back the amount the consumer had paid immediately, but maximum within thirty days from the day of withdrawal.

(6) Expenses arising from returning the product are on the consumer. The consumer has no other expense to pay. However, the company can demand compensation for the damage resulting from improper use of the product.

§ 5. In the absence of differing agreement of the parties, the consumer cannot practice the right of withdrawal:

a) in the case of a contract regarding providing a service, if the company had started the completion with the consent of the consumer prior to the expiration of the withdrawal deadline;

b) in the case of selling a product or providing a service the price or fee of which depends on the fluctuations of financial market movements beyond the control of the seller;

c) in the case of selling a product, which is linked to the persona of the consumer, and which has been produced according to the instructions or specific request of the customer, or that cannot be returned by its nature or that is highly perishable;

d) in the case of a contract applying to a sample of audio or video recording, as well as a computer software, if the product had already been unwrapped;

e) in the case of a contract for the sale of newspapers, journals and periodicals;

f) In the case of a contract regarding gambling.

The course of exercising the right of withdrawal
If you intend to exercise your right of withdrawal, you can indicate it via the given contact numbers and addresses in writing, on the phone, or in a message via the website under order history at the given order. If you mail the notification we take into consideration the date of posting, and if the notification was made on the phone, the day of the phone call serves as the date of the notification. If you mail the notification, make sure to send it via registered post, thus you will be able to prove the date of posting. Return the product ordered by mail or via a courier service to the address of our company. It is important to note that costs incurred in connection with the returning of the product are to be borne by the Customer; we cannot receive cash on delivery parcels. Pay special attention to proper use of the product, as damages due to improper use are to be borne by the Customer. Following the arrival of the parcel to our company, the unwrapping as well as the examination of the returned product are recorded. It is necessary in order to avoid possible subsequent misunderstandings (for example, the product returned was damaged or lacked certain parts). Within thirty days from receiving the product, Dekor-el Kft. refunds the purchase price of the product.

 

 Warranty

Our products come with a twelve-month warranty. Warranty is only valid with professional equipment, application and proper use. In case of product failure contact our colleagues regarding further steps.

Wall Decoration, Wall Stickers, Wall Tattoos

The guarantee is valid only under proper equipment, sticking, and intended use. Please take the following points into consideration.

Colour accuracy
The colours available in the web shop highly depend on the monitor and other settings, therefore they are only approximate colours.

Cleaning, Surface preparation
Stick them on dry, dust-proof and fat-free surfaces. If you intend to stick on surfaces other than the wall (e.g. glass, mirror, furniture, etc.) use the mixture of shampoo, detergent and water for the cleaning beforehand. It is forbidden to use window cleaner, wax and furniture polish, because it results in improper adhesion. It is allowed to use alcohol and white spirit available in the paint shop.

Freshly painted surfaces
If you wish to stick the decoration on a freshly painted wall, wait one or two weeks instead, otherwise the decoration may blister due to evaporation from the paint.

Removing the transfer foil during sticking
The removal of the transfer foil highly depends on the quality of the wall. In case of a wall of proper quality, the foil can be removed without damaging the wall, although we cannot reimburse such damage.

Car Decoration, Motor Stickers, Bicycle Stickers

The guarantee is valid only under proper equipment, sticking and intended use. Please take the following points into consideration.

General
These stickers are for outdoor use, waterproof, UV stable, and can be varnished. 
(Further details for varnishing are provided later.)

Colour accuracy
The colours available in the web shop highly depend on the monitor and other settings, therefore they are approximate colours only.

Stick them on dry, dust-proof and fat-free surfaces. Use the mixture of shampoo, detergent and water for the cleaning before sticking. It is forbidden to use window cleaner, wax and furniture polish, because it results in improper adhesion. It is allowed to use alcohol and white spirit available in the paint shop.

Size check
Before placing your order, check if the sticker for the motor is of the proper size. They can be different, depending on the age group.

Varnishing

The stickers can be varnished with water-based varnish. The result of using solvent-based varnish is vexed. It is often used, but it is not successful in all cases due to personal and technical conditions. Without previous experience you are recommended to make trial-varnishing. On request I will send some test materials. MS 2K varnish seems to the the best without dilution and blown in several thin layers.
We cannot reimburse damage caused by varnishing. Please do varnishing at your own peril.

Freshly painted surfaces
If you wish to stick the decoration on a freshly painted wall, you have to wait for the appropriate drying time; otherwise, the decoration may blister due to evaporation from the paint. Drying time for the paints may differ. 

Guarantee time of some colours for extra charge
12-month guarantee does not apply to fluor colours and golden mirror foil, because these may prematurely fade. These colours have a six-month guarantee.

Rough surfaces
It is not recommended to stick on rough plastic surfaces as the foil cannot stick on them properly.

Suggestions after delivery
During the delivery the transfer foil on the sticker may become creased due to the high temperature in the vehicle. Please store it at room temperature for 1 to 2 hours, then it gets back its original size and it can be smoothed again. It does not ruin the quality of the sticker. Please, store it at room temperature henceforward.

 Matching the colour of the varnishing and the stickers
In case of several types of motorbikes the colour of the sticker and the varnishing of the profiles should be the same. The colours of the foil may differ from the original colours. As the colour selection of the stickers is rather limited, in this case the colour of the varnish should be blended to match the colour of the sticker. This may cause problem when the motorbike is varnished only partially. For choosing the matching colour we can send a colour sample by post on request.

Canvas picture

The guarantee is valid only under proper equipment, sticking and intended use. Please take the following points into consideration.

General

The canvas pictures are meant for indoor use only, and for average room conditions (temperature: between +10 and +25 C, humidity between 20-80%, exposure to direct sunlight maximum 1-2 hours a day, dry wall).

Colour accuracy

The colours that can be seen in our webshop depend on the settings of the screen, etc. to a great extent, so they are only approximate.

Storing

The canvas pictures are decorations that can be hung on the wall. In case this is not possible, they should be laid on an entirely flat surface, in a dry, moisture-free place.  As our wedge frames are made of excellent quality dried wood, deformation can be excluded under such storing conditions. During storing the canvas should not be touched by anything or dented, as it can remain stretched out at the place of the dent.

Cleaning

The canvas picture should be cleaned by dry or wet, soft textile. If necessary, it can also be cleaned by a wet cloth using some neutral detergent.

Stretching of the canvas

In case of a bigger canvas picture the canvas may become loose over time. In this case you can easily stretch the canvas with the help of the wedges. There are 2-2 wedges in all the corners of the picture. When stretching, you have to hit each wedge equally with a hammer, very gently. At the corners of the stretchers you will see how they move away from each other. We are talking about millimeteres here. You must do this by laying or standing the picture on a soft surface so as not to cause damage on the canvas. Do not overstretch the canvas, stretch it only until it smooths nicely.

 

Laptop sticker

The guarantee is valid only under proper equipment, sticking and intended use. Please take the following points into consideration.

General

Laptop stickers are made for indoor use only, and for average room conditions (temperature:  between +10 and +25 C, humidity between 20-80%, exposure to direct sunlight maximum 1-2 hours a day). They are waterproof and UV stable.

Colour accuracy

The colours that can be seen in our webshop depend on the settings of the screen, etc. to a great extent, so they are only approximate.

Cleaning

The sticker should be cleaned by dry or wet, soft textile. If very necessary, it can also be cleaned by a wet cloth using some neutral detergent. Some alcohol may also be used for cleaning.

Laptop stickers can be removed. In case there should remain some glue on the surface after peeling off, it can be removed with some alcohol. However, static-adhering foils do not leave any marks.


Final provisions

Termination of the contract
The customer can apply for the termination of the contract at any time, we take notice of this after you have identified yourself, and we terminate the user’s access to use the Webshop. Dekor-el Kft. reserves the right to unilaterally terminate the contract in case of customer misbehaviour.

The responsibility of Dekor-el Kft. does not extend to
Abuses caused by the negligence of the user (e.g. disclosure of password to a third person), and shall not take financial or moral responsibility for them. Dekor-el Kft. judges contentious situations according to the data digitally recorded and archived by the system, and makes the applying parts of these available for the customer.
